History

Welcome to Gerrards Cross Chess Club; bringing chess to the community sinse 1946

We started in Gayhurst School in 1946

Moved to the Memorial Centre in 1947

The Chess club is very active:

3 teams in the Bucks Chess League

We run club standard & blitz competitions

Promote Chess in Schools

First 1 month membership is free. After that, membership is : £76.00 / year adults. £25.00/yr juniors. 

£64/yr over 65s

Club Nights

Join us every Wednesday evening:

Juniors: 19:00 - 19:30

Seniors: 19:30 - late

Juniors: Age (5+)

Juniors welcome to stay for senior session.
