Summary of rules. FIDE rules of chess apply.

Teams for a match consist of 5 boards per team. Colours are determined by the toss of a coin, where the winner of the toss can choose white on boards 1, 3 and 5 or on boards 2 and 4.

The time control is 80 minutes plus a 10 second increment each move for the whole game.

The moves of the game must be recorded on the provided score-sheet.The exception to this is when you have less than 5 minutes remaining on your clock, when you no longer need to do it.

There are no restrictions on when in the game you may offer a draw, although it must be immediately after you have made a move (standard rules of chess).

Division 1: Players over 1900 shall be nominated for a team & cannot play down.

Division 2: Players over 1700 shall be nominated for a team and cannot play down.
